[Osteoid osteoma in the trapezium - rare case history.].

The author reports on an atypical site of an osteoid osteoma in the os trapezium. He mentions the difficulties associated with establishment of the diagnosis at that site. He recommends non-invasive examinations such as scintigraphy of the skeleton, CT, MRI. Key words: osteoid osteoma, carpal tumour, tumour in the os trapezium.
